Our work with AstraZeneca at ASCO 2025, one of the world’s largest oncology congresses, was awarded Pharma and Healthcare Event of the Year.
At a highly competitive exhibition, the challenge was to create an experience that made complex science easier to explore and understand — without adding to the noise of the congress floor.
The result was a more immersive, audience-first environment. Delegates were invited into a space designed to slow them down, explore content at their own pace, and engage with oncology data in a more intuitive way.
Technology, storytelling and design worked together to create a connected experience — supporting both high-level exploration and deeper scientific engagement.
The booth welcomed over 18,000 visitors, representing more than 40% of attendees, and delivered strong engagement throughout the event.
We were also highly commended for Sustainability Pioneer, recognising our approach to embedding sustainability into the design of the ASCO experience.
Using our Enviroplan methodology, sustainability was built in from the outset — shaping materials, production, logistics and long-term reuse.
A modular system was developed for use across a global programme of congresses, reducing the need for single-use builds and enabling consistent delivery at scale.
Lower-impact materials, reduced freight requirements and digital-first content all contributed to a significant reduction in environmental impact — without compromising the experience itself.
