Emota wins Oil, Gas & Energy Event of the Year

We are excited to share that Emota has won the Oil, Gas & Energy Event of the Year at the 2024 Conference News Awards for our work on Shell Eco-marathon, a global competition uniting over 3,000 students across three continents. This event challenges students to design, build, and race energy-efficient vehicles, pushing the boundaries of sustainable mobility. 

Delivering such a large-scale, multinational event required innovation, meticulous planning, and a commitment to sustainability. From creating student innovation villages to implementing eco-conscious infrastructure, our approach ensured a seamless experience while maintaining Shell’s high standards. Our efforts led to a 91% student return intention rate, demonstrating the impact of this event in fostering the next generation of energy innovators.
