Best Sustainability Experience at the Experience Design Awards 2024.

EnviroPlan – our holistic approach to the sustainable design and delivery of exhibition booths – has won Silver at the Event Marketer Awards!

We were absolutely delighted to be awarded Silver by Event Marketer for Best Sustainability Experience at their Experience Design Awards this week. 

Our exhibition booth for parent company Inizio at the ASCO 2024 Congress in Chicago earlier this year was designed using Emota’s EnviroPlan methodology – an innovative design and manufacture approach that aims to reduce carbon emissions of exhibition stands by at least 50%, without limiting creativity, reducing quality or increasing cost.

The booth was built from fully recyclable structural cardboard, which resulted in an incredible 70% reduction in CO2e emissions compared to traditional build methods. But that wasn’t the only benefit – compared to an equivalent traditional build, the EnviroPlan approach reduced set up time from 2 days to 2 hours, reduced labor costs by nearly 60% and drayage costs by over 80%.

The booth’s eco-friendly design generated buzz, leading to increased footfall and engagement, far exceeding our initial expectations for lead generation and networking.
