With an undergrad in Musical Theater, I’ve spent the last 10 years working in the theater industry, whether on stage or Front of House. Most recently, I was lucky enough to travel the world working on a cruise ship as a production singer. However, when the pandemic shut down all travel, I took the hiatus as an opportunity to explore an exciting new project. I enrolled in a postgraduate diploma course in Event Management and Marketing at The Event Academy. Six months later, I was lucky enough to gain a place on the Year ONE program.
I can’t believe I’ve already been at Emota for a month (an occasion the team and I marked by cheers-ing with a cup of morning coffee in the office kitchen), and what a month it’s been! I’ve learned a tremendous amount already, but the thing that has struck me the most is the sheer support and kindness of everyone I’ve met along the way. In such a short time, I have already been made to feel like a valued and trusted member of the team.
Next week I’ll be flying out to Paris for my first on-site event and couldn’t be more excited!
