How do you celebrate global achievements in a way that connects everyone? We transformed a hybrid awards event into a cinematic, comic-inspired celebration of purpose and pride.

The Challenge

Bringing together a global team for a shared moment of recognition is no small task. Especially, across multiple locations and formats.

Our objectives were to:

  • Celebrate over 300 global team members’ contributions and achievements
  • Deliver a high-impact experience across multiple locations and time zones
  • Create connection, recognition, and inspiration – without the possibility of everyone meeting in person
  • Balance creative ambition with practical production logistics and inclusivity

 

The Solution

We delivered a 3-hour hybrid event anchored in a bold, bespoke creative concept: Celebrating Superpowers. Inspired by comic-book universes, we reimagined the team as everyday heroes fighting for global health.

Working from London’s Curzon Soho cinema – with satellite watch parties in the U.S. and remote viewers worldwide – we transformed each touchpoint:

  • Creative Theme: A full superhero-style design system brought to life through posters, illustrations, masks, and in-room theming
  • Film & Motion: A cinematic opener and broadcast suite built to match the tone and energy of superhero films
  • Audience Experience: Branded popcorn, immersive selfie boards, surprise-and-delight goody bags and event kits for remote attendees
  • Engagement Tools: Live polling and voting through the event app kept everyone connected
  • Guest Speaker: A powerful keynote from ex-hostage negotiator Richard Mullender brought unexpected emotional impact

The result was a fully immersive, emotionally resonant experience – designed to entertain, recognize, and unite.

The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback, including a 4+ star average from participants. Attendees left feeling seen, celebrated, and inspired to take on the challenges of 2025.
