Find out how we created a more consistent, scalable presence.

Regeneron had an established reputation as a leading scientific partner and an ambitious oncology pipeline. The challenge was to turn that scientific equity into a distinctive, credible presence in one of healthcare’s most competitive therapy areas – building relevance with the oncology community today while creating momentum for the next three to five years.
That meant thinking beyond individual congresses. Regeneron needed a more unified global narrative and congress roadmap that could connect its scientific heritage to meaningful patient impact, bring Commercial and Medical closer together, and create memorable moments that strengthen recognition and relationships across the oncology community.
For Emota, the opportunity was to translate the strategy into an experience system that would deliver consistency, efficiency and value without losing impact. A distinctive creative platform and modular booth approach that could flex across booths large and small for the next three years.
We set out to create a more powerful, more ownable congress presence for Regeneron – one that could tell a unified story, build recognition across the oncology community and make every part of its congress investment work harder.
At the heart of our approach was Momentum to Moments. Inspired by Regeneron’s Science to Medicine positioning, the idea referred to the constant forward motion of Regeneron’s science, and the subsequent real impact on patients (that, in turn, inspired further innovation). This infinite loop of innovation, impact, inspiration became the creative heart of the experience, informing and connecting strategy, architecture, content and the delegate journey.
The ambition: every booth would become a kinetic expression of Regeneron’s purpose, bringing Commercial and Medical content together through synchronized LED walls, interactive touchscreens, leadership storytelling and patient narratives. Each would also be crowned with a distinctive ‘infinite loop’ banner, light and colour coursing in one direction to orchestrate the onscreen flow of all large screen content below it.

One strategy. One Regeneron.
We created a unified exhibition booth system that could live at every scale – from flagship Tier 1 shows to smaller footprints across the portfolio.
Commercial, Medical, Corporate and Hospitality each needed their own voice, but everything had to feel unmistakably Regeneron. Movement, colour and light created a shared visual language, giving each audience distinction without losing overall unity.
The result was a consistent global platform that could flex across brands, indications and different congress environments, reinforcing Regeneron’s scientific leadership wherever it showed up.
Modular thinking that works harder
We then translated that creative system into a reusable kit of parts that could flex and adapt across different stand sizes, brands, indications and Commercial or Medical needs — with US and European kits designed to support adaptation across hundreds of congresses over the next three years.
Rather than starting again for every congress, elements could be reconfigured and reused across the portfolio, creating greater consistency while reducing duplication in design, production and materials. Structural elements, content zones, screens and branded components could be recombined to suit each environment while remaining unmistakably Regeneron.
All of this helped investment go further.
Sustainability designed into the system
Sustainability was built into the platform from the outset through Enviroplan, Emota’s approach to embedding sustainability into every stage of the design process. The team prioritised reuse and circularity across the design – from durable aluminium structures, reusable furniture and display assets to content-flexible LED walls and lower-impact graphic materials selected to reduce material use and stay in circulation for longer.
And because the system was designed for repeated deployment, every reuse extends the life of the original material investment and compounds the environmental benefits over time.
Compared with a traditional single-use build, the approach delivered an estimated 97% less production waste and 61% less production and waste emissions. TRACE reporting also showed 95.7% of materials were reused, donated or repurposed, while 100% of recorded waste was directed to reuse pathways.

ASCO 2026 became the launch moment for the new platform – the first major opportunity to bring the thinking to life at scale and prove how a more connected Regeneron congress presence could perform.
HCP engagement designed into every layer
The ASCO booth was designed as an engagement journey, not simply a branded environment. The experience was designed in layers, giving HCPs reasons to stop, explore and stay.
Large-scale synchronized screens created energy and visibility across the show floor; pipeline content and digital interactives allowed delegates to go deeper; patient and leadership stories brought intimacy and human connection; and hospitality and huddle spaces created room for meaningful conversations. Rather than simply broadcasting information, the booth let people find the level of content most relevant to them.

One connected team, from idea to delivery
Emota led the creative strategy, congress experience and modular environmental design through to build and delivery, and supported by wider Inizio expertise spanning medical content and interactives, film, digital, omnichannel congress support, staff training and measurement.
That connected presence extended beyond the exhibition booth too. At Tier 1 congresses, Emota carried the same visual identity into branded business suites and meeting environments, including AV and hospitality spaces – creating greater continuity across the wider Regeneron congress experience.
With multiple teams and partners contributing, a clear creative framework kept everything connected – many teams behind the scenes, one cohesive presence in the exhibition hall.
The result was a genuinely connected congress solution: strategically aligned, creatively distinctive and flexible enough to keep evolving with Regeneron’s oncology ambitions.
Inizio’s Intelligent Congress in action
Intelligent Congress is Inizio’s integrated approach to creating smarter, more connected congress experiences. It looks at congress activity through four lenses: alignment, streamlined engagement, efficiency and measurement.
For Regeneron, we can see that thinking in action across the programme – from a unified multi-year congress strategy and more connected HCP engagement, to reusable content and modular design that help investment work harder. A common measurement framework and sensors across the congress experience are also building benchmarks across shows and markets, helping Regeneron understand what worked and use those insights to inform and evolve future activity.

ASCO 2026 became the first major proof point for the new congress platform, showing that a more connected strategy could do more than elevate Regeneron’s presence. It could change how HCPs moved through, interacted with and spent time on a booth.
We pulled visitors onto the stand, kept them for longer and have the data to show it. Across three exhibit days, the booth delivered exceptional engagement results:
But the bigger value is what Regeneron now has beyond ASCO.
The modular platform is now being reused and reconfigured across congresses, brands, indications and Commercial and Medical needs. With the system being adapted for wider Tier 2 and 3 activity, it is designed to extend across hundreds of congresses over the next three years – creating greater consistency while reducing duplication in design, production and materials.
That reuse is also delivering measurable environmental value: compared with a traditional single-use build, the approach generated an estimated 97% less production waste and 61% less production and waste emissions.
It gives Regeneron a more efficient, scalable way to maintain a distinctive global presence as its presence in oncology and haematology evolves.
And, through the connected Inizio Intelligent Congress approach, performance data feeds back into future planning – helping Regeneron understand what is driving engagement and continually make its congress investment work harder.
The result is a platform built not just for one standout moment, but for long-term relevance, stronger HCP relationships and measurable impact across their global congress programme.
